Executive Chef - Luis Escorcia
Chef Escorcia introduces a unique creative expression to his dishes and a devotion to local ingredients.
Born and raised in San Francisco, CA, Luis fell in love with cooking from an early age. He grew up the youngest of seven with five sisters and an older brother. His older brother saw Luis’ great potential and encouraged him to attend culinary school at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco.
Prior to joining Fifth Group Restaurants in 2021, Chef Escorcia was the executive chef at Nel Centro in Portland, OR. Other notable career experiences include working for John and Gail Pierre at Foreign Cinema and his time as executive chef of Stock and Bones Restaurant Group’s seafood concept, Anchor and Hope in San Francisco.
